My name is Vasile (Vasi) Roman and I was born September 3, 2001 in Arad. Right after I was born, my mother abandoned me and I was placed at the House of Hope. Three of my brothers, Simon, Cristi and Luci, already lived there.
I’m in the second grade. Until recently I was in the same class as another girl at the House of Hope, Cristina. This helped me very much. I don’t really like it at school. The good thing is that I made a lot of new friends, but for homework it’s good to have a sister to help you! Girls are smarter!
I live with a new family now, with Mama Ica Hotoran. I have to go to a new school and I don’t know how that will be. Right now I’m little, but when I grow up I want to be a fireman. I see on the news that many forests are burning, sometimes houses, and people are scared. I want save people and animals from fires.
