My name is Simon Roman and I was born July 16, 1999 in Arad. Ever since I was a baby (for 10 years), I lived with 3 of my brothers at the House of Hope. For the first year of my life I was taken care of by an American girl named Jacci, and then by the housemoms at the House of Hope. I didn’t learn to talk right away and for that reason I’ve had to attend several different schools. Now I’m in the 2nd grade. I like my school but it’s very hard for me to sit still for a long time. I like to sing, I like loud motors, and to play with dogs.
I don’t know what I want to be when I grow up but I hope I can make money to help others, to help other children, just like people are helping me. Since July I live in a new family with my big brother Luci. I miss my brothers Vasi and Cristi, and I miss Jacci.
