My name is Flavius Duma and I am a poet at heart… born on the same day as the most famous Romanian poet, Mihai Eminescu…on January 15 (1995, in my case!). Since July 1999, when I was 4 years old, I lived at the House of Hope. Together with three others, Mircea, Teo and Gabi, we were the first children to live there. We all came from the same orphanage with almost 200 abandoned children living in it. Of all those children, God chose the four of us for this new beginning. Why me? I don’t know, all I know to say is that I’m thankful to God for this blessing and for taking care of me.
Ever since then I’ve seen my heavenly Father care for me and the most important thing is that I know He is my Father, that He will never abandon me and that He loves me unconditionally.
I’m a student in the 8th grade and I have to take final exams soon. I’m very detail oriented and I like to do artistic things like draw, paint and skills with my hands.
