My name is Ionuti (Yo-nootz). I was born on June 2, 1992 in a town called Lipova in Arad county. I lived together with my older sister and parents until my mother died in the year 2001.
I have always been a quiet boy and I did well in school and was well behaved at home. After my mom died my dad had some problems because he drank too much alcohol. He also had financial problems and, because he was working morning until evening, he requested help from the State to take care of me.
So from 2001-2004, my sister and I lived with an aunt on my father’s side of the family. Later, I asked to be placed in children’s home and that’s how I came to live with the Stanca family and Global Hope. I had some health problems when I came, but since then my health has been much better. I like to do activities, especially with groups of friends. I’m in the 10th grade and attend the local high school for Engineering and Environmental Protection. I hope to get a job in the same area when I graduate.
