“The man or woman at home who prays often has as much to do with the effectiveness of the missionary on the field, and consequently with the results of his or her labors, as the missionary.” — R. A. Torrey
PRAY for the children to learn the ways of God; that the caregivers and teachers in their lives would be role models of God’s ways; that they would have the freedom to learn about who God is.
PRAY for the health of the children; that they would be protected from disease and remain well-nourished. Pray for the children who are HIV+ and on antiretroviral treatment; that the medicine keeps the virus under control and their side effects to a minimum.
PRAY for the situation in Kenya with the draught; that the country will experience good rains this year to help them recover from the damage done due to lack of rain over the past year.
PRAY for our partner in India, KEL Children’s Home. They have been given a piece of land that could be useful in growing vegetables for the children and community, and are seeking a partner to help them fund the project and help prepare the land.
PRAISE for the caregivers who work so hard to love and nurture the children in all our locations!
PRAISE for the new Global Hope board member, Mike Traxler. He first got involved with Global Hope in 2015 by helping coordinate the Apple Cider Run. This past fall he went on his first mission trip with Global Hope to India. He has a huge heart for children and for serving and will be a blessing to the organization!
