This is Blessing she lives at HOREC in Kenya. She was born in 2016.
Blessing and her sister, Annastacia, came to live at HOREC in 2023 after their mother died. They were in the care of the older sister who struggled to provide for the girls. Blessing is doing well at HOREC where she is now attending school, she is excited to learn something new everyday.
This is James he lives at HOREC in Kenya. He was born in 2011.
James came to live at HOREC in February 2023 after the death of his mother. He is doing well and enjoying school now that he is attending regularly. His favorite subject is English. In his free time he loves to dance and practice acrobatics with the other children.
Tasha lives at HOREC in Kenya. She was born in 2015.
Tasha has been at HOREC since August 2018. She is a joyful and talkative girl who’s always busy playing with other children. Tasha is in the 2nd grade, she is learning to read and is good at number work. Tasha likes music and dance and she is learning to draw.
Dankan lives at HOREC in Kenya. He was born in 2013.
In 2016, Dankan’s mother died of HIV/AIDS after this there was no one who could care for him on a long term basis, he was brought to HOREC. Dankan likes to read and is earning above average grades in school. He is a quiet but cheerful boy. Dankan is the goalkeeper on his soccer team! He wants to be a pilot when he grows up.
Jackson lives at HOREC in Kenya. He was born in 2012
Jackson and his twin brother came to live at HOREC in 2019 when their elderly grandmother could no longer care for them. Jackson is doing well in school, he loves mathematics, environmental science and English. In his free time he likes playing football (soccer) and has been learning to cook!
Amos lives at HOREC in Kenya. He was born in 2012.
Amos and his twin brother are happy to be part of the HOREC family where they are safe, loved and well fed. Amos has been showing improvement in his academics since attending school regularly. His favorite subject is mathematics. He has been an active class prefect working with the teacher to make sure the class is in order. Amos wants to be a mechanical engineer when he grows up.
Moha lives at HOREC in Kenya. He was born in 2011
Moha lost both his parents when he was very young, he came to live at HOREC in 2019. His favorite subjects in school are English and mathematics. In his free time he loves playing soccer and racing tires. He likes to draw whenever he gets a chance. Moha wants to be a professional soccer player when he grows up!
Annastacia lives at HOREC in Kenya. She was born in 2019.
Annastacia and her sister, Blessing, came to live at HOREC in 2023 after their mother died. They were in the care of the older sister who struggled to provide for the girls. Annastacia is doing well at HOREC where she gets nutritious meals, medical care and is now attending preschool.
