Dry seasons are recurrent in East Africa but in the last few years the situation has worsened.  Many regions in Kenya have been experiencing the worst drought in years.  Crops are drying up, harvests have dwindled, food prices are skyrocketing, and hunger is growing across the region.  Global Hope’s partners in Kenya have been impacted by the rising cost of food and their budgets are not currently sufficient to purchase enough food to keep the children well fed.  Good nutrition is a critical dependency for the health and well being of all people and it’s especially important for children with HIV and other health challenges.  The good news is that we have the opportunity to make a real difference for dozens of children for as little as $1,100 per month. We hope to send at least this amount to both HOREC and Spring Valley each month for the next three months — total needed: $6,600   Visit our “DONATE” page to give today!  (Choose “KENYA – URGENT NEED FOR FOOD” in dropdown menu)
