Since 2013, Global Hope has been working with our partner in India to rescue children from extreme poverty and the commercial sex trade. We currently have seven Global Hope children’s homes on the Medchal campus — this includes Esther Girls Home and Ruth Girls Home, opened in 2021 and 2022 respectively.

Over the past year the current campus (which holds children’s houses, training centers and a school) has reached capacity. As a result, a new campus is being constructed to enable the rescue of hundreds more children.

Global Hope is investing in this urgent need to rescue children by launching the next phase of Global Hope Village.

The overall goal of this phase of the project is to build and open five homes on the new campus to provide a safe home for 50 children.   The cost of building and opening these five homes is $210,000.  Thanks to generous donors and our church partners, to date we have raised $91,000.  This fully funds the building of two homes (at a cost of $35,000 each) and brings us close to funding a third home.

Current Status of the Village

Our partner has purchased the land and installed basic infrastructure including electricity, plumbing and a security wall. They are waiting on government approval to begin the construction phase. They hope to obtain the approval within the next week or so and break ground on the two homes that have been funded to date.

How to Help

Please join us in funding this critically important project. Over 200 children are waiting for the homes the village will provide! Consider giving as an individual, bringing together a group of friends to fund a home, or asking your church to get involved – every dollar helps.
