In late June 2023, we announced the start of a search for a new Executive Director as the next leader of Global Hope. After an extensive search by our Transition Committee, we are pleased to announce that Sara Hendren has been selected as Executive Director, starting December 1, 2023.
The Transition Committee established a process for review of over 70 candidate resumes. We were fortunate to have several outstanding candidates who interviewed for the position. After a thorough review of candidate skills and experience, and discernment of who would be the leader to continue to grow and define our ministry, the team selected Sara for this key leadership role.
Sara has 18 years of international non-profit leadership & program development experience. She has established several international training programs and is skilled in establishing collaborative partnerships for cross-culture programs. Her values and strong Christian faith have led her to be involved with several non-profit missions addressing social and humanitarian issues.
Sara’s non-profit leadership and her commitment to providing opportunities for individuals regardless of their location and circumstances aligns with Global Hope’s vision that every child has the opportunity to thrive in mind, body, and spirit. We are confident that under her leadership our organization will continue to succeed in impacting the lives of children as we achieve our mission and vision.
