We are so excited to inform you that the calculators and logarithm books the grade 8 junior high students needed for their math class were delivered very early Wednesday morning to the Spring Valley school. Tr. Jesse received them and together with tr. Clinton (grade 8 class teacher), and tr. Victor (grade 8 math teacher), showed the students how to use them this morning. The children were very happy and excited to receive their brand new scientific calculators and logarithm books and now they will be able to excel in Math which is one of their favorite subjects.
We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to you Global Hope for your giving that has enabled the school to purchase these items. The calculators and logarithm books will be used by the school for many years to come and will assist the students and teachers in excelling in math which is a key subject in the new CBC curriculum in Kenya.
