Spring Valley School has been one of the best performing schools in the district, and due to this our students when they complete their primary education, are accepted in some of the best and most prestigious high schools in Kenya. Unfortunately in Kenya, high school is not free, and many poor children do not complete their high school education because of lack of school fees. Here in Spring Valley it is left up to Pastor Stanley and tr. Alice to pay for their school fees, and also purchase all the items they need, for school including, exercise books, text books, writing supplies, sanitary towels (for the girls), uniforms, soaps, and all a child would need to attend high school. All our children come from very poor families and they are usually the first in their families to even attend high school and without the assistance of Pastor Stanley and tr. Alice their bright future would be cut short.
Our high school students are currently home for the April holidays, but will be going back to school in the next two weeks to begin their second term/semester.
Spring Valley is requesting assistance in paying students’ school fee for next term/semester and for purchasing the necessary items for these students, so that, they can continue with their education and even go up to university or college and they can have a chance at a bright future free of poverty.
The total amount required to pay their fees and purchase some items for them for next term/semester is $1,500.
