It is with great excitement and deep gratitude that we announce that the new classrooms and school building construction is complete at Spring Valley in Kenya. The building project was completed in 64 days — something that we are all so amazed about. The first week of 2025 was hectic and busy as the construction workers and even the staff assisted in painting, fixing the lockers for the staff room, and getting each and every classroom ready for the students’ first day. Everything came to a completion late Saturday night (January 4th) and on Sunday January 5th the students and staff held a thanksgiving service thanking God for His faithfulness and greatness.
Schools officially opened in Kenya this week on Tuesday, January 7th and the Spring Valley children were very excited to see their new classrooms and the new school building. The boarders were taken on a tour of the school Monday evening (Jan 6th) and they were the first ones to use the new dining hall. All our staff members are very excited to teach in the new classrooms that are spacious and full of natural light and our kitchen staff are the happiest because they are now using a cooking stove that is smokeless and the kitchen is very spacious.
We admitted new baby class students Tuesday and they are very happy and settled in their sunny classrooms already adjusting to the school environment.
Words cannot express how grateful we are to all you our partners and friends for praying for us and believing with us in this dream for a brand new state of the art school and classrooms for our children. This would not have been possible without your love, generosity, support and prayers. We all took the time to pray for you all, for the Lord to bless you indeed this new year with great and mighty miracles and blessings in this year of 2025.
